Overview of One Day Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour

One day Kathmandu sightseeing tour basically commence from your hotel where our representative will pick you up and head towards the center of city; the Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kathmandu Durbar Square is an historic iconic building for kings, living goddess; the Kumari, and temples like taleju .It is a world UNESCO Heritage site and built in 15^th century by malla kings. Also known as Hanuman Dhoka this place has uniquely known for oldest temples and its statues, oldest courtyards and dazzling monuments of the past. You will also visit kasthamandap the temple made from a whole single tree which will definitely give you a sense of ancient art and culture of Nepal. Similarly you then go visit the kumara house where a tender child age girl is worshipped in a sense of living goddess in the form of divine power. After her puberty, another tender girl is chosen. Then you will move past the Thamel street visiting and shopping goods and handicraft you like.

From there we will take you to visit the Pashupatinath temple; the renowned temple for lord shiva. Here you will see the absolute devotion of the hindu pilgrimage to this place and see the pious environment of this palce. Bagmati River flowing by the side and aryaghat where deads are cremated in this holy area will give you a sense of his holiness at this place. Similarly you will visit shelsmantak forest where you will see deers monkeys.

From there we will take you visit Boudhhanath stupa where it is called little Tibet of Nepal. It is the largest stupa of Kathmandu valley and you will see the culture and tradition of Buddhist people in their very own way. There you will see the best meditational 108 pictures of Buddha.

At the end of the day we will take you visit the Swayambhunath stupa. It is uniquely identified for its best location as it lies at the top of a hill in about center of Kathmandu valley. You can see the best sunrise or sunset and the bright yellow light in Kathmandu city will give you an immense joy to witness it all. Moreover the stupa and periphery temples are a place to watch. The handicraft goods and the local arts shown on streets will provide you and sense of rich of Nepal art and culture. Your tour will end after we will drop you to your hotel.
