Overview of Annapurna Base Camp Short Trek

Short Annapurna base camp trek is moderate trekking route in Annapunra Region. It is suitable who have limited time for holiday in Nepal. Annapurna Base Camp trek is the best way to explore the splendor of Annapurna region along with unique experience of local culture, flora and fauna, lush hills and magnificent Annapurna Himalaya ranges. Annapurna region has stunning mountain views to offer including multiple mountain soaring over 7,000m and Annapurna I, being the spectacular and tallest mountain in the region standing at 8,091m from sea level.

There are very few treks in Nepal that offers diverse landscapes and brings you so close to Himalaya of 8,000m+ peaks in such a short time period as short Annapurna Base Camp trek. Annapurna I (8,091m) is the 10^th highest mountain of earth and the journey to its base camp is classical and splendid moment of life. It is in fact more than just a trekking.

Short annapurna base camp trek is start from Pokhara one of the beautiful city of Nepal. The journey to the base camp instigates in Pokhara and meanders through several cultural hamlets, cascades waterfalls, rhododendron forest, cultivated farmlands and superb landscapes before approaching to the base camp of massif Annapurna.

The milieu of Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) is incredible and extravagant, backdrop by the vicinity of Annapruna I (8,091m), Machapuchre (6,993m), Hiunchuli (6,441m) and Annapurna South (7,219m). Annapurna region offers numerous trekking option which ranges from relatively easy treks through cultivated farmlands and stunning hills to challenging, high elevated treks through rugged terrain and steep trail.

Outline Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Pokhara to Kimche and trek to Ghandruk.
Day 2: Trek from Ghandruk to Sinuwa via Chhomrung.
Day 3: Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali via Bamboo and Himalaya.
Day 4: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base camp via Machhapuchhre base camp.
Day 5: Trek from Annapurna Base camp to Bamboo.
Day 6: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu danda have a natural Hot spring.
Day 7: Jhinudanda to Nayapool and drive to Pokhara.

Day 01: Drive from Pokhara to Kimche and trek to Ghandruk.

After breakfast at hotel our guide pickup from Pokhara hotel and drive approx 4 hour and trek 3 hour to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is typical Gurung village where you can see view of Annapurna Himalaya range including Mt Fishtail.

Day 2: Trek from Ghandruk to Sinuwa via Chhomrung.

After breakfast at tea house we are heading to sinuwa. Today we are walking inside jungle, crops land, village and it takes approx 6-7 hour. Today we are walking up down up with step and plain road.

Day 3: Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali via Bamboo and Himalaya.

After breakfast at hotel today we are heading to Deurali via Bamboo, Dovan and Himalaya. Today we are walking on the jungle and slidely up. we are taking a lunch on dovan or Himalaya.
