At the Tribhuvan International Airport, or Kathmandu Airport, you will find your guide. After the completion of the formalities from the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day will be free to relax and adjust to the time-zone.

However, if you are brave, you can dare walk around Thamel: at an easy pace, it would be an adventure experience full of life, shop, and eateries. There is essentially no sightseeing today, just enough time for you to take a rest after your travel.

This day is reserved for the exploration of the sites of Kathmandu that have made histories and attracted pilgrimages. The tour commences today with a visit to the Swayambhunath Stupa otherwise known as the Monkey Temple to see spectacular views of the Kathmandu Valley.) After you will go on to the Pashupatinath temple, which is a hallowed pilgrimage site for the Hindus.

Later will continue to visit the Boudhanath Stupa, undoubtedly one of the largest and most important Buddhist stupas in Nepal. In the afternoon, the tour proceeds to the Kathmandu Durbar Square filled with ancient temples and palaces that denote the affluent history of the city. Expect to travel today something like 20-25 kilometers.

On this day, a drive will take you from Kathmandu to Pokhara. This drive is beautiful, has an approximate travel time of 6 to 7 hours, and covers approximately 200 km. Your early morning trips will take you about 11 km away from Pokhara to Sarangkot. This site is popular for panoramic views of sunrise over the Himalayas with peaks such as Annapurna and Machapuchare.

After sunrise, you will return to Pokhara for breakfast then resume the trip visiting: the World Peace Pagoda, Devi’s Fall, and Gupteshwor Cave. The rest of the day is yours to relax at Phewa Lake or shop in the Pokhara town market. Expect a moderately travel-day averaging 20-30 kilometers total.

After breakfast, drive from Pokhara to Chitwan National Park that is about 150 km distance on the road and takes about 4-5 hours. Upon your journey, the views will captivate you with the countryside with quaint villages, green fields, and silvery rivers.

On arriving at Chitwan, it will be check into a hotel near the park. There will be an evening cultural program that includes the interesting Tharu dance that gives insights into local culture of the area. After all this long, tiring day, perhaps you will want to take a rest.

This is going to be quite a healthy day. It will take you to wildlife activities in Chitwan National Park, among the best national parks in Nepal. To start off your day with some jungle safaris in which you can find wildlife like rhinos and tigers, as well as some exotic birds. Today, you’ll fly from Kathmandu to Bhutan, specifically Paro. The flight takes about an hour. There, your guide will meet you at the airport and take you to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, which is almost 50 kilometers away and about a 1.5-hour drive. You will check in to your hotel in Thimphu, and the rest of the day will be free for you to explore the local area. If time allows, you may visit Tashichho Dzong, the fort that houses the administrative and religious center of Bhutan.

The day will start with sightseeing in Thimphu, where you can visit the Buddha Dordenma statue, which offers stunning views of the city, and the Memorial Chorten, a religious site dedicated to the third king of Bhutan. In Paro, you can visit the National Museum and Rinpung Dzong, a historic fortress and monastery. Enjoy the evening in Paro, which is known for its quiet beauty and picturesque surroundings.

On this day, you will start hiking, fairly hard but very rewarding, to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang). The monastery lies on the height of 3120 m or 10,200 ft above sea level. The round trip reaches almost 4-5 hrs walking time and very nice views on the surrounding area. It is one of Bhutan’s top attractions and very important culturally.

After this hike, you will head back to Paro to rest for a while. Later in the afternoon, more visits in Paro might be done, such as Drukgyel Dzong, a historic destroyed fortress of importance. You will then have the rest of the evening free to relax and enjoy the peace of the place.
